What's included in The Lawn Care Plan

5 visits per year

Your lawn gets a dedicated visit in spring, early summer, late summer, autumn, and a follow-up. Across those visits, we apply four seasonal organic-based granular feeds (Spring Bio, MO Bacter, Vitax 6X), plus any weed or moss treatment your lawn needs at that point in the season.

Targeted weed spot-treatment

We use spot spraying to apply treatment directly to individual weeds - dandelions, clover, daisies, plantain. This means the product goes on the weed, not the whole lawn. More precise, less product, better for your grass.

Iron Free Moss Control

No iron sulphate. Instead, we remove moss mechanically during scarification, relieve compaction with aeration, and thicken the grass with overseeding and topdressing. Safer for pets, no risk of staining paths and patios, and the lawn actually improves long-term rather than just looking better for a week.

Autumn Renovation (your 4th visit)

Every autumn, your lawn gets the Annual Autumn Renovation: scarification to remove thatch and moss, aeration to relieve compaction (solid or hollow tine depending on your lawn’s needs), overseeding to fill gaps, and a light topdress (2-3mm) to support recovery. This is a maintenance renovation to keep a treated lawn looking great, and it’s included in your plan, not charged as an extra.

Lawn health report after every treatment

After each of your five visits, you’ll receive a report covering what was done, why, what to expect next, and any recommendations. You’ll always know exactly what’s happening with your lawn.

Your lawn care year

1

Visit 1: Spring (March–April)

First feed

First organic-based feed as soil temperatures rise above 10°C. Wakes up the lawn after winter dormancy. Weed spot-treatment begins as weeds start actively growing.

2

Visit 2: Early Summer (May–June)

Summer feed

Second feed to maintain colour and thickness through the growing season. Weed spot-treatment continues as needed. We monitor for drought and adjust timing accordingly.

3

Visit 3: Late Summer (July–August)

Maintenance feed

Light application to sustain the lawn without forcing growth. If conditions are dry, we hold off rather than stress the grass. Your lawn is assessed ahead of the autumn renovation.

4

Visit 4: Autumn (September–October)

Renovate & restore

The most important visit. Moss treatment feeds the lawn while targeting moss. Scarification, aeration, overseeding and light topdressing (2-3mm). This is where most of the change happens.

5

Visit 5: Follow-up (November–February)

Progress check

Post-renovation follow-up to check seed establishment, assess winter condition, and set spring priorities. If mild conditions allow, we also tackle early weed or moss pressure.
